The memorandum of understanding was entered into between CBRC and the Research Institute for Symbolic Computation (RISC) in Johannes Kepler University(Linz, Austria), in July, 1, 2007.
RISC is one of the world-wide institutes for the research of symbolic computation, which Prof. Bruno Buchberger who found Groebner base in 1965 plays a leading part in the research for computer algebra.
CBRC will collaborate with RISC to apply symbolic computation to solve the biological issues, by focusing on the approval of the International Conference of Algebraic Biology.
